This round boulder opal displays a beautiful array of purple and blue, with a sweeping cosmic pattern that evokes a planet surrounded by a vibrant bluish-purple atmosphere. While all boulder opals are one-of-a-kind, this stone is especially distinctive for its unusual combination of color, pattern, and shape.

True to Claire Marais’ signature style, the stone is set in a straight-walled, low profile bezel of uniform height resting on a cylindrical band. A sunburst design finishes the underside of the bezel, and a gently hammered finish brings an ancient quality to the modern form.
